Krafty Peeks - You've Got Game!

I've used the basketball image from the set and paired it up with some Little Yellow Bicycle papers.  I added a die cut basketball in the same patterned paper and some twine.  I think it looks a bit like my son!

Krafty Peeks - You're a Peach (or a pear)!

It's time for Kraftin' Kimmie's JULY 2013 RELEASE!!!!! We've been dying to share this month's images with you!! We've got SO many exciting things going on....so let's get to it!

We are kicking off the *New* JULY Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps previews today and we're SO excited to share these new stamps with you from artist, Nicole Aspinall!!! Today we’d like to introduce you to these sweet image sets ….Flowers Feed the Soul and You're a Peach!

We have lots of inspiration from the Krafty Girls, so hop around....and be sure to comment at each and every stop because one lucky stamper is going to WIN BOTH of the new Fruit and Flowers sets!

I used the pears image from Nicole's new fruit set!  I have a weakness for pears, especially since I have a good friend with a pear tree in her backyard.  Come late August and early September, I'm usually busy making pear butter and pear jam.  This jar in my picture is actually the last jar of last year's batch and I decided to make a gift tag for it.  I love to give away jars of my jam and this will come in so handy!

I used some Doodlebug Fruit Stand papers and die cut the pear pattern into a tag.  I paper pieced my pears out of a couple different papers and shaded them with copics.  I added some burlap ribbon and some sueded ribbon as well for texture.  

Krafty Challenge - Guns 'n Roses!

Krafty Challenge - Shaped Cards!

I used my top note die for my card shape and pulled out Nicole's Hip, Hip Hooray! set.  I just love these balloons!  I paired them with some Echo Park Here & Now papers that I got from KKS, and added some ribbon and twine.  I kept it pretty simple as I didn't have a lot of room left on my card!

I pulled out Nicole's new Hip, Hip, Hooray set and decided to step out of my box a little.  I'm not really a technique person - they scare me quite honestly!  But I've been dying to try the chalkboard technique and I figured this would be a great set to try it with.  I decided to make a whole set of cards.  I used the same supplies and layout for all 3 cards.

I pulled out my black cardstock and Versamark, white embossing powder, white chalk ink, and my prismacolour pencils.  I used the Doodlebug 6x6 Fruit Stand paper pad and matching cardstocks from my stash.  I die cut some scallop borders and added some buttons and twine.

They were actually super fun and pretty fast to make!  I forgot how much fun it is to heat emboss!

As if yesterday's announcement that we've added a new artist to the Krafty Krew wasn't enough ...today we are introducing you to ANOTHER of our brand new artists!  You may have heard her name before and we are SO excited to welcome RACHELLE ANNE MILLER to the team!

Ack!!  Isn't this little cutie adorable?  I have been a RAM fan for quite a while and am so super EXCITED that she's joining KKS as an artist!  I've used Dance for Joy and paired it with some Echo Park Bundle of Joy (girl) papers.  The layout is from the Deconstructed Sketch and I've added some rose trim and pearls for embellishment.  There's also some Sakura Stardust pen all over her ribbon, but I'm not sure if you can see it well in the picture.

Krafty Peek - Happy Campers!

Welcome back to day THREE of our JUNE Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! Today we are sharing ANOTHER cute new set by artist Cheryl Alger just in time for your outdoor adventures with the kiddos!  This one is called.......HAPPY CAMPERS!

I stamped out this super cute Lulu image and paired her with some Fern & Forest papers from Little Yellow Bicycle!  I sponged all my edges with distress ink and added some twine and die cut leaves topped with a button.  I also die cut some grass for the bottom of the image.

I used this adorable Lucas image from the set and coloured him up in bright colours to match the Doodlebug Take Note papers that I wanted to use.  I used the "out of the box" technique for the balloons and an older sweet Sunday sketch layout.  With all that colour and pattern going on, I kept it simple with just a little bit of twine and a button for embellishment, and grounded everything in black so that it wouldn't appear day-glo!

I coated the balloons with my Sakura Clear Glaze pen so they'd appear smooth and shiny!

I've used the new Wine Me, Dine me set and chosen this wine themed image.  I happen to be a big wine lover.  I also happen to be giving my children's teachers gift cards for the liquor store for end of year gifts.  So this card and set is timely!  I stamped the image on Kraft paper and coloured it with my copics.  I paired it with some Echo Park Times & Seasons papers - I thought the pattern with the years was perfect!  The layout is from an older sweet Sunday sketch challenge.

I've used Gabby for my card today - isn't she just fabulous?!  I coloured her up to match my BoBunny papers and popped her volleyball up to add dimension.  I cut apart my sentiment so that I could fit it on my image panel as well.

This will also be the last set of stamps from Annie for a little while as she's taking a bit of a hiatus from stamp art at the moment. And as she's taking some time off, we are THRILLED to finally be able to share a BIG SECRET with you!!! Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is super excited to tell you that we will be introducing TWO new artists to the KKS family next month!!! We're not going to tell you who they are just yet.....but you may recognize their style.... and their names!!! Teehee!!!

I've used the Lucas image from the Totally Tubular set.  I've paired it with some My Mind's Eye Boy Crazy papers and added some die cut waves and twine along the bottom too.  The tube has been coated with my Sakura Clear Glaze pen so it's all shiny!

I've used this fabulous flip flop image from the Summer Lovin' set (now I'll be singing the Grease soundtrack all day!) and coloured it up with my copics to match the Echo Park Splash paper that I pulled out.  I used my nestabilities to make a shaped card and kept it simple with just some twine and a button to finish it off.  Wouldn't this make a fabulous gift card holder for a pedicure?  There are a couple of other fabulous images in this set and some great sentiments, so hop around to see what the rest of the Krafty Girls have created for you!

Well I might have stretched my card for the challenge just a little bit.  I have a fishtail banner going across my card - so I hope that's enough to fit this challenge!  I've used this super sweet Lexi image from the Sweet Dreams set and coloured her up to match my Doodlebug papers.  I added the banner, some stitching and brads for embellishments.  Oh and GREAT news - this set is on sale especially for National Scrapbook Day!  Woot!
