Krafty Hop - I'll Get You My Pretty...

Do YOU know what day it is? It’s Krafty RELEASE Day at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps! And we’re celebrating with a KRAFTY HOP! There are SO many incredible new stamps to SEE this month, so let’s get started.

Over the last few days in our Krafty Peeks, we have shared lots of AMAZING new stamps from all our artists! We’ve got something for everyone!! Lulu is back from Cheryl Alger.....we know how much you love her! So we have a new set called PLAYTIME LULU. We also have TWO fantastic sets of adorable BUGGIES from Emilie Goulet called BUG BUDDIES 1 AND BUG BUDDIES 2. And of course we have an amazing new set of six WIZARD OF OZ inspired stamps from Annie Rodrigue! AND a fabulous OZ SENTIMENTS set to match. Eeeeeeee!

You will get to see most of the new images today as you sit back and enjoy our APRIL Krafty Hop. If you want to start from the beginning, just head over to the Kraftin’ Kimmie Challenge Blog. As you hop from blog to blog, be sure to leave a comment at each and every stop because some lucky stampers will win packages of these incredible stamps from the new release. And when you’re done hoppin’, be sure to head over to the Kraftin’ Kimmie shop, because ALL the new images are NOW available.

And of course, as always, we have our Gimme Kimmies Kits available for those of you who ‘need it all'. The stamps are grouped together by artist and are available at a discount, but only for a limited time.

For my card today I pulled out the Wicked Witch.  I loved the musical Wicked and so she was an easy choice.  In keeping with the spirit, I coloured her skin green and dressed her all in black.  I decided to keep the colours simple on the card and used a couple different lines of papers for my simple layout.  I also pulled out the new Oz sentiments and used one of my favorite lines for the sentiment.

Well, that's all I've got for you, but I know that AMANDA will have something fabulous to knock your socks off - she's the next stop along the hop.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

SFYTT - Release Your Inner Child!

**Please note this is my second post for today.  If you're looking for my Kraftin' Kimmie peek, please scroll down or click HERE**

Hey all!  I wanted to pop by and share my second Sketch For You To Try card for April.  I am loving both this month's sketch and this month's sponsor - There She Goes stamps.  Huge thanks to TSG for sponsoring us this month!

I took another image from Every Child out for a spin.  This sweet little girl could totally be my daughter - I often find her in this very position!  I mounted my image on a Dizzy Doily and paired her up with some Simple Stories Fabulous papers.  I did add a horizontal panel to my card because I was dying to use this sentiment on the front.  I also added a couple of felt flowers and some brads for a little oomph!

As a reminder, here's this month's sketch.  You can link up your entry over on Jen's blog.  And don't forget to check out my fellow sketch sisters and see what fabulous inspiration they've whipped up for you as well!

You've got until the end of the month so there's still lots of time to play along. Thanks for stopping by!

Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks - If I Only Had a Heart

Happy Saturday all!  Have you guessed what this month's theme is for the new Kraftin' Kimmie Moonlight Whispers stamps?  That's right - The Wizard of Oz!  Oh me, oh my!  I'm so excited to show you these fabulous new stamps that will be available to purchase on Sunday April 22nd in the Kraftin' Kimmie shop.

As always for release week, we have a sketch for our weekly challenge.  I loved this sketch and loved colouring in my Tin Man.  I matched him up with some Authentique papers and stayed pretty true to the sketch.  I added the sentiment that accompanies him and some twine as well.

I hope you'll come play along with us over on the challenge blog!  You'll find the sketch there as well as samples from all the Krafty Girls and our fabulous Krafty Guests.  And don't forget to check back early tomorrow morning for our Krafty hop - all the new stamps will be available for purchase!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks - Bug Buddies

Welcome back for day 2 of previews for the Kraftin' Kimmie April release.  All the new stamps will be available on Sunday April 22nd in the Kraftin' Kimmie store!

Today we're sharing Emilie Goulet's new sets with you - Bug Buddies 1 & 2.  This cute little picnic-wrecker is from Bug Buddies 1 and I'm choosing to think he's carrying the cake to the party, rather than away from it!  I paired him with some MME papers and added some brads, twine, and felt flowers for embellishment.  The layout started out as one of Jen's deconstructed sketches, but didn't quite end up there.

The Krafty blog has links to all the Krafty Girls and Guests sharing peeks with you today.  And don't forget to leave comments because two lucky people will each win one of the new bug sets just for commenting!  Thanks so much for stopping by!  I'll see you back here tomorrow for another peek and our monthly release sketch challenge!

Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks - Pretty as a Picture

Welcome to peeks for the April Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps release!  We've got fabulous stamps to show you this month (as always), and as usual we're kicking off our previews with the new Lulu set, illustrated by Cheryl Alger.  All of the new stamps will be available on Sunday April 22nd in the Kraftin' Kimmie shop.

I used this cute little artist Lulu for my card and paired her with some primary colours that I found in these MME On the Bright side papers.  I gave her a little canvas to stand in front of and added a sentiment as well.  Isn't she adorable?

Links to all the Krafty Girls and Guests showing peeks can be found over on the Krafty blog.  And remember to leave comments as you visit because one lucky stamper will win their very own new Lulu set just for commenting.

Also - have you heard that Kraftin' Kimmie is having a moving sale?  We've got 100+ stamps on SALE 30-75% OFF in our online shop and limited numbers of them all! Some stamps are as little as ONE DOLLAR!! Some will arrive without packaging, just as unmounted rubber, so be aware of that. Also some will be retiring, so this is your last chance to get them!

I'll see you back here for more previews!  Have a good one!

Kraftin' Kimmie Inspiration Challenge

Hey all!  Happy Saturday!  I'm keeping this post short and sweet cause I'm writing it before I fly out the door to head off to Scrapfest - where I'll be meeting Kraftin' Kimmie and some of the other Krafty Girls and working the Krafty booth.  By the time you read this, we'll be into our second day and I know we'll still be having a blast!

I am your Krafty hostess this week and I decided to make this week an Inspiration challenge.  I love these kind of challenges since you can pick any number of things to inspire you.

I was mostly inspired by the colour palette of this dining room picture from Pier 1.  I used Thalia for my card and picked some Basic Grey Picadilly papers to match the mood in the inspiration photo.

I hope you'll play along with us!  Link up over at the challenge blog and you could win the Thalia stamp that I've used on my card.

And make sure you check out the challenge blog for samples from the Krafty Girls and our incredible Krafty Guests!

April Sketch For You To Try

Well it's the first Saturday of the month and that means it's time for a new sketch over at Sketch For You To Try.  This month we're also sponsored by There She Goes stamps - and I was tickled to work with one of their sets.

I chose to work with the fairly new Every Child set.  I absolutely love this set - it's filled with super cute images and great sentiments.  I know I'm going to get a lot of mileage out of this set!  I coloured this cutie up to match my patterned papers - one of the new Cosmo Cricket lines.  I kept my card pretty simple and I added a sentiment panel because I was dying to use this verse.

I coated both the metal part of the brush and the red paint with my Sakura Clear Glaze pen so they'd be really shiny and glossy.

Here's this month's sketch for you!

Don't forget to swing by and check out the beautiful creations by the rest of my sketch sisters!
