I know this might seem to be an odd card for an adoption, but a friend of mine just adopted a beautiful 5 year old little girl from China. I enjoyed reading about the adventures of my friend, her husband, and son as they travelled over to China to finalize the adoption of the newest member of their family. A group of us are going together to give them a gift certificate for some family pictures and this is the card to accompany the gift. Apparently Hannah is very fond of pink and purple sparkly things - so I tried to make the card with that in mind. I used Amy R.'s Friday sketch #50 for the layout.
Hope you're having a great weekend!!

Beautiful card for a beautiful occasion!!!!
Wonderful mix of colours and patterns, and a gorgeous card for the occasion!
There is a very cute board book about adopting a daughter from China called "I Love You Like Crazy Cakes", I've seen it in the book bins at a half a dozen or so Winners stores. It's from the adopted mothers point of view, but great. As well Jamil Lee Curtis has a book called "Tell Me Again About the Night I was Born". I always thought these would make good gifts for adoptive parents - if they are of course keeping the adoption topic open to their child.
Super cute! That's such a sweet story.
I love the bow! How cute! I really do think I missed out on some super secret when it comes to tying ribbon!
