Welcome back for Day 2 of MFT Teasers for the September release. Today we're showing you the new Inspired By set. This month brings the third installation in a year of Inspired by Flowers. I chose to use the Poppy from this beautiful set. As a child in Elementary school, we memorized the poem "In Flanders Fields" for Remembrance Day (Veterans Day in the States) and it sticks with me to this day. I stamped the poppy on some MME patterned paper and coloured it with copics. I kept the colours simple and the layout is a past Sweet Sunday sketch. I used only the Simply Scallops die and the flag from the First Place Award Ribbon die and stamp set. I wanted to keep everything simple and understated.
Here are the details about the upcoming release on September 6 at 10 PM EST:

My Daddy goes out every year rain or shine and sells the poppies for the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) all money raised goes to Veteran's homes to care for the Vets! This card is SO beautiful and I will be trying to copy cat it so I can send it to my Daddy!!!! LOOOOOVE IT!!!!!
you just reminded me! i won a poppy poster contest back in high school! i got a savings bond (no, i'm not OLD!)from the VFW! this is beautiful, love how that flower looks on the dp!
