Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge - Fall Colours!

Welcome back to another Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps challenge!  This week our hostess is KIM O and she wants us to use FALL COLOURS! Well, I guess it is officially fall now, so let's get into the spirit! Don't you love the cooler temperatures, going for walks in woolly sweaters and watching the leaves turn? SO much fun! Have some krafty fun and join us this week because we'd LOVE to see your KKS designs. We hope you can play along!

I decided to use Nettie for my card and I chose to interpret fall colours as jewel tones.  I didn't really have a lot of oranges and rusts, so I figured that since the stores have lots of rich, dark colours - I could make it work.  I pulled out my Echo Park Times & Seasons paper pad and coloured my image to match with my copic markers.  I added a couple buttons, including that pretty crystal faceted one mounted on the flowers - nice, huh?

Now let's get on with the show! Check out the INCREDIBLE creations by our Krafty Girls and Krafty Guests over on the Krafty Blog!! If you join us for this week's Fall Colour challenge, you could WIN the gorgeous Lulu stamp, as featured on Kim O's sweet card!

Don't forget about this weekend's FRUGAL FRIDAY SPECIALS at 30-50% OFF !! We've got SIX of our awesome stamps on SALE for you this weekend! So head on over and check it out!! Also our NEW Holiday Release is NOW available with lots of fantastic images from all of our artists! And the September Gimme Kimmies Kits are up as well, but only for a limited time!

Over the last few days in our Krafty Peeks, we have shared lots of AMAZING new stamps from all our artists. We’ve got something for everyone! Lulu is back from Cheryl Alger.....and she's all dressed up for the holidays with her little sister....it's HOLIDAY LULU AND LIBBY. We also have an adorable set of SIX images from Emilie Goulet called SANTA AND HIS ELVES! And of course we have an amazing new set of SIX super sweet HOLIDAY GIRLS from Annie Rodrigue that are simply precious! OH and don’t forget the exclusive line of sentiment stamps that will coordinate with ALL your images.... called HOLIDAY TRINKETS by the lovely Nicole Aspinall.

You will get to see most of the new images today as you sit back and enjoy our SEPTEMBER Krafty Hop! As you hop from blog to blog, be sure to leave a comment at each and every stop because some lucky stampers will win packages of these incredible stamps from the new release. And when you’re done hoppin’, be sure to head over to the Kraftin’ Kimmie shop, because ALL the new images are NOW available!

And of course, as always, we have our Gimme Kimmies Kits available for those of you who ‘need it all’! The stamps are grouped together by artist and are available at a discount, but only for a limited time.

Now here we go............let's get hoppin'!

I've chosen to use Joy for my card tonight.  I coloured her up to match my MME papers and used a layout from Freshly Made Sketches.  I used a picket fence die for the horizontal element in the sketch and added a sentiment flag as well as a flower with a jingle bell brad.

I decided to use some white flock on the fuzzy areas of the image.  I used my Quickie glue pen for adhesive (being careful not to cover any of the lines) and dumped the flock over top.

I also decided that my image needed some snow.  I tore a piece of white cardstock and added liquid adhesive to the torn edge.  Then I grabbed some Polar White Flower Soft to make and dumped it on top.

Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks Day 4 & Sketch Challenge

So are you here for a new Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps challenge or are you here to check out the brand new ANNIE stamps for SEPTEMBER?  Well, either way, we've got ya covered! Not only do we have a new weekly challenge but we also have SIX new AWESOME stamps!
If you are an Annie FAN, you know that she's been doing some illustration work for a children's book!! And she's tried out a new style lately! Well, we LOVED the new style SO much, that she's done her new HOLIDAY GIRLS stamps in that sweet style!!! We KNOW you'll LOVE them as much as we do! Just wait 'til you see all the incredible creations by the Krafty Girls and Guests featuring Gemma, Grace, Joy, Madeline, Nettie and Penelope!! Prepare your pocketbook.....because you're gonna want them ALL!

Check out all the amazing creations on today's hop in combination with this week's challenge!! The lovely SHERI is our hostess this week and her challenge features a fantastic SKETCH!! Use the sketch she has provided as inspiration for your card or scrapbook page! And the random winner of this week's challenge will receive the new GRACE, as featured on her gorgeous creation!

I chose to use Gemma for my project this week.  And I actually decided to make a gift card holder since it seemed to go so well with the image.  I adhered my coloured and sponged Gemma image to a belly band and added a glittery star for embellishment.  I think I actually flipped the sketch in order to make my layout work.

Here you can see the gift card holder without the belly band.

And on the inside I've used a Holiday Trinket as well as a small piece of patterned paper.  I cut the flap of the holder at an angle and used scor-tape to adhere it in order to hold a gift card.

Below you will find all the Krafty Girls and Guests who have goodies to show you today and while you're visiting their blogs, be sure to leave some love at each stop because TWO lucky ladies are each going to WIN a package of today's stamps!! Woohoo!!!

ALL of our SEPTEMBER stamps will be available TOMORROW at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!!! So be sure to come on back to enjoy our Release Day Krafty HOP!!

Today at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps we are sharing SIX new individual stamps by the totally talented Emilie Goulet! Get ready to meet SANTA AND HIS ELVES!! We've got the most awesome elves in some sticky situations, the big man himself *may* have gotten himself in some trouble....there's a reindeer and a cuddly little kitten. Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks Day 2!

Welcome back to our SEPTEMBER Krafty Peeks! Today we are excited to share the THREE new images and SIX matching sentiments included in our new Lulu set by artist Cheryl Alger. This ADORABLE new set is called HOLIDAY LULU AND LIBBY and the whole set is too freakin' CA-UTE!

All the Krafty Girls and Krafty Guests listed below have lots of super designs to show you, so be sure to hop over to each of them. And while you're there, be sure to leave a comment because one lucky stamper is going to WIN the new HOLIDAY LULU AND LIBBY set!

Then come on back tomorrow to check out MORE new stamps we have to show you as the Happy Holidays theme continues, this time by artist Emilie Goulet. And ALL the new stamps will be available on Sunday at the KKStamps Shop!

I've used this super cute Lulu image for my card.  I love that although this image is part of a Holiday set, it's not limited to holiday cards.  Wouldn't this be sweet as an everyday card with the sentiment "you're a superstar".  Genius, right?!

Anyway, I paired my Lulu with some non-traditional colours from one of last year's Echo Park collections.  I must admit that I love the red, aqua, and gold together!  I made her star all sparkly with my Sakura Stardust Pen and used gold stickles on my star embellishment.  I've used September's Sketch For You To Try as my layout again, since KKS is this month's sponsor.

Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks - Day 1!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!  Well....not if you look outside. But it is at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Get ready for our HOLIDAY 2012 RELEASE!! We are kicking off the *New* September Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps previews today and first off, we’d like to introduce you to a beautiful new set of Trinkets. We are very excited to share with you our….HOLIDAY TRINKETS!

These circular sentiment stamps have been created and designed by the totally talented Krafty Girl, Nicole Aspinall. They are made especially to fit in your 1 3/8ths and 1 ¾ inch punches, for quick and easy cutting. This month we are releasing the HOLIDAY Trinkets set which includes EIGHT trinkets in each set with four of each size and they come as both positive and
negative images, so you can use your black or brown ink with the positive stamps and use your coloured inks with the negative ones!! You will get the set as a completely unmounted full sheet of deeply etched grey rubber.

A lot of the Krafty Girls are cardmakers and we have found these to be such a quick and easy way to add a sentiment to our creations or to use as the focal point on your cards! They are also perfect for your Smashbook pages and your scrapbook pages, not to mention your altered items and tags!! What a great way to make a bunch of gift tags for all those presents under the tree!! No stamper's stash is complete without them!

I paired this candy cane image with some Kraft cardstock and some older Echo Park paper.  I used a layout from the iSpy sketches blog and added some twill, twine and a button.  I love how quickly cards come together with these trinkets!

Now just you wait 'til you see the awesome samples the Krafty Girls have put together for you....and be sure to comment on each and every stop because one lucky stamper is going to WIN the new HOLIDAY TRINKETS set!!!

Happy Holidays!!! *wink*

Sketchy Piecing Challenge!

Hey all!  I'm back today with a card that fulfills not one but two challenges.  This week's challenge over on the Krafty Blog is to use paper piecing.  And as usual, I usually post my second Sketch For You To Try card which is super convenient since Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is our sponsor for September!  A match made in heaven!

I stayed true to the sketch this time and paired sweet Lola Lollipop up with some papers from MME.  I added some stitching and some trim as well as a crocheted and resin flower.

Don't forget to hop over and see what my sketch sisters have cooked up for you as well.  And you can visit Jen's blog to link up your card for your chance to win big at the end of the year!

A Krafty Sketch For You To Try

Happy long weekend friends!  In addition to the holiday weekend, it's also the first Saturday of the month which means it's time for a new Sketch For You To Try!  This month we're sponsored by a company near and dear to my heart - Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!  In fact, I've combined this week's Krafty challenge with the sketch to make this a two-fer!

This week's Krafty challenge is to use Kraft cardstock - easy peasy!  I coloured up this fortune teller image from the brand new Krafty Klubhouse Kit Three Wishes.  I matched her up with some MME papers (Miss Caroline Fiddlesticks) and cheated a bit by adding a sentiment panel to my card.  I used some gold ribbon for the vertical element in the sketch since I had coloured the fringe on her tablecloth gold as well.

I hope you'll come and play along with us this week over on the Krafty blog.  And you have all month to play along with Sketch For You To Try and link up over on Jen's blog.

You'll definitely want to hop over and see what the rest of my sketch sisters have cooked up for you - they're amazing!
