Krafty Peeks - Fall Fun!

I've used this super cute new Fall Fun image and paired it up with some more of Simple Stories Harvest Lane papers (available here in the KK shop).  I added some burlap ribbon, felt flowers and brads for embellishment.  I just love fall colours!

Krafty Peeks - Happy Haunting!

Welcome back to day THREE of our AUGUST Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!  Today we are sharing a super cute new set by artist Thais Narciso.  It's called.......HAPPY HAUNTING!

I used this adorable girl hugging a pumpkin and matched her up with some Simple Stories Harvest Lane papers. I added some natural trim and some felt leaves.  I must admit that fall is my favorite season!  While I'm not ready for summer to disappear, I'm anxious for fall!

Krafty Peeks - You're Fangtastic!

I pulled some OLD Cosmo Cricket Halloween papers out of my stash and paired them up with some purple cardstock to showcase this cute wizard from the You're Fangtastic set.  I used some Sakura Stardust pen on his stars and the band on his hat.  And the star behind the sentiment is cut from some sparkly cardstock as well.

Krafty Peeks - Beyond the Grave!!

It's time for Kraftin' Kimmie's AUGUST 2013 RELEASE!!!!! We've been dying to share this month's new STAMPS with you!! We've got SO many exciting things going on....so let's get to it!

We are kicking off the *New* AUGUST Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps previews today and we're SO excited to share these new stamps with you from artist, Nicole Aspinall!!! Today we’d like to introduce you to these spooooooky new sets ….FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE! and TIME FOR A COFFIN BREAK!

These fabulous images are perfect for your Halloween cards, tags and treat bags!! And you'll see this in the amazing samples today!

I've used the jack-o-lantern stamp from Beyond The Grave and matched it up with some older MME papers.  I left a sentiment off my card since the background paper says Happy Halloween - but this set has a fabulous font and awesome sayings!

Krafty Kardmaking Kit!

I used some of the items in the kit to create this halloween card using one of the images from Too Cute to Spook 2!  Everything on my card came from the kit except for my white cardstock, the ink, and of course my copics.  Other than that, I didn't add a single thing!  How cool is that?!  And wait till you see what some of the other Krafty girls have done with the rest of the kit!

Slippery When Wet!

Welcome back for another totally fun challenge here at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!  This week our hostess is ME!  My challenge for you is SLIPPERY WHEN WET!  So pull out those mermaids, those beachy stamps, summer papers and embellishments....then create a card (with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp) and share it with us!  Get creative!  Have some krafty fun and join us this week because we'd LOVE to see your KKS designs.  We hope you can play along for your chance to WIN some Kraftin' Kimmie rubber!

For my card, I pulled out this cute Lexi image from the Totally Tubular set!  I paired her up with some Simple Stories Vintage Summer papers and added a sentiment from the Summer Lovin' set.  I also added a die cut swirl and some brads in the corners.

Your Next Stamp In Vogue Hop

I used this super cute new gardening girl and paired her up with some Simple Stories Vintage Summer papers.  I had so much fun colouring her baskets of produce!  This is what I look like coming home from the Farmer's Market (o.k. maybe not so much, but a girl can dream, right?!).  I used the August sketch from the challenge blog and added some twine and a couple of candy dots.  Let's not talk about the big gap between her lower legs, k?!  I'm going with "it looked better in my head".  Regardless, the stamp is ADORABLE!

Your Next Stamp Guest!

Hey all!  Just wanted to pop in really quick to share THIS.  I'm super thrilled to be working with Your Next Stamp this month!  I just love that there are amazing Canadian companies like this out there!  YNS is celebrating their 4th birthday this month so stay tuned for some fabulous celebrations!

I pulled out the new You're a Peach set and paired it up with some Doodlebug Flowerbox papers from the 6x6 pad.  I kept my card super simple, using only some patterned papers and paper piercing.  I must admit, that I sat for quite some time trying to decide whether to add anything, and in the end, decided to leave it as is.

I pulled out one of Rachelle Anne Miller's new stamps - Cherish the Little Moments and coloured it up with my copics to match my Little Yellow Bicycle papers.  I also used some prismacolor pencils for the grass and sky.  These two are SO cute!

I've used Fishin' Friends and kept it pretty simple.  Just a couple of patterned papers, some piercing, twine and a simple layout.  I just love this image - we did a bit of fishing just last week on our vacation so this reminds me of good times!

I've used this super cute Lulu golfing image and paired it up with some Echo Park Beautiful Life papers.  This set has a couple of sweet golfing sentiments to go with the images (and they're punny to boot!).  The layout is an older Deconstructed sketch and I added some ribbon, brads and a flower behind my sentiment.

I've used the basketball image from the set and paired it up with some Little Yellow Bicycle papers.  I added a die cut basketball in the same patterned paper and some twine.  I think it looks a bit like my son!

Krafty Peeks - You're a Peach (or a pear)!

It's time for Kraftin' Kimmie's JULY 2013 RELEASE!!!!! We've been dying to share this month's images with you!! We've got SO many exciting things going on....so let's get to it!

We are kicking off the *New* JULY Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps previews today and we're SO excited to share these new stamps with you from artist, Nicole Aspinall!!! Today we’d like to introduce you to these sweet image sets ….Flowers Feed the Soul and You're a Peach!

I used the pears image from Nicole's new fruit set!  I have a weakness for pears, especially since I have a good friend with a pear tree in her backyard.  Come late August and early September, I'm usually busy making pear butter and pear jam.  This jar in my picture is actually the last jar of last year's batch and I decided to make a gift tag for it.  I love to give away jars of my jam and this will come in so handy!

I used some Doodlebug Fruit Stand papers and die cut the pear pattern into a tag.  I paper pieced my pears out of a couple different papers and shaded them with copics.  I added some burlap ribbon and some sueded ribbon as well for texture.
