Baby Gift Set

My friend had her beautiful baby girl on the 28th and I wanted to make her something for the baby's room. I decided to make a name frame and a set of blocks. I used the baby girl collection from Basic Grey and made the frame, blocks, and card to match.
For the blocks I used Emily's tutorial from her blog - Stamping and Stuff.

I used Beate's weekend sketch challenge as my jumping off point for the card. I changed it just slightly when I used the scalloped circle in the corner instead of a square.

We actually got to see Chloe last night as it was her big brothers birthday party and my kids were invited. We had a blast playing at our local indoor play place. I made this card for the birthday boy - I used Beate's weekend sketch again - this time staying true to the sketch. The stamp set is My Favorite Things Dinomite and the paper is from the DCWV glitter stack.

Hope you had a great weekend! We are trying to get our backyard in order and purchased a swing set and playhouse so we can spend lots of time out there this year!

You know I LOVED them.
I'd been trying to convince Mike to get a shelf for the baby's room, and when he saw the blocks he decided that we now NEED the shelf. We went out today to find one. (we didn't get one, but that's a whole other story).
Thank you again :)

ADORABLE gifts for Chloe! Simply adorable.

Sorry to hear that we missed meeting you at the party. I'm bummed now...I would have loved to meet you--we've been all quite sick around here.

Awesome creations!

As for my stuff....

I was going to post pics, but you know, it really was an obscene amount and I'm kind of embarassed as to how much stuff it was.

Let's just say my craft room looks like a scrapbook store now.
